Pengertian Antecedent
Antecedent memiliki pengertian sebagai kata yang digunakan untuk memperjelas suatu pronouns. Untuk memahami siapa yang ditunjuk pada pronouns she, he, atau it, tentunya kita memerlukan keterangan lebih. Keterangan itulah yang disebut sebagai antecedent.
Dalam penggunaannya dalam sebuah kalimat. Antecedent dapat berbentuk sebagai word, phrase, maupun clause. Karena itu, dalam materi kita kali ini kita akan membaginya menjadi tiga jenis Antecedent dalam Bahasa Inggris
