Karena pada materi sebelumnya, kita telah bersama – sama mempelajari contoh – contoh dan rumus kalimat aktif dan kalimat pasif dalam bentuk simple past tense, sekarang mari kita masuk ke dalam materi yang sama tetapi, dalam bentuk yang berbeda untuk melengkapi ilmu yang telah kalian terima dalam mempelajari materi passive voice. Dan pada pertemuan kita kali ini materi yang akan kita bahas kali ini adalah passive voice dalam bentuk simple present tense.

1. Positive sentence (kalimat positif)

Dalam penerapannya, V1 + s / es akan digunakan apabila subject berupa he, she, it. Dimana, penambahan es hanya akan ditambahan pada kata yang berakhiran h, i, x, o, s. Selain itu, gunakan penambahan s untuk kata yang berakhiran huruf lainnya.

Rumus kalimat aktif simple present tense dalam bentuk positif:

S + V1 + s / es

Rumus kalimat pasif simple present tense dalam bentuk positif:

S + am / is / are + V3

2. Negative sentence (kalimat negatif)

Dalam negative sentence, hal yang harus diperhatikan adalah penggunaan do / does dan penggunaan am / is / are. Sekedar untuk mengingatkan kembali bahwa, penggunaan do untuk subject I, you, we, they. Penggunaan does untuk sucject he, she, it. Penggunaan am untuk subject I. Penggunaan Is untuk subject he, she, it. Penggunaan are untuk subject you, we, they atau bisa juga digunakan untuk menjelaskan sesuatu yang jamak, contohnya adalah books.

Rumus kalimat pasif simple present tense dalam bentuk negatif:

S + am / is / are + not + V3

3. Interrogative sentence (kalimat tanya)

Untuk jenis kalimat yang ini, kalian perlu berhati hati dalam mengubah do / does dalam kalimat aktif menjadi am / is / are dalam kalimat pasif. Pertama – tama susunlah terlebih dulu suatu kalimat dalam bentuk positif atau negatif. Lalu, pindahkan to be ( am / is / are) kebagian depan kalimat.
