Announcement atau pengumuman adalah suatu cara pemberitahuan/penyebarluasan kepada public mengenai sesuatu yang penting untuk diketahui dan wajib dilaksanakan jika perlu. Terdapat perbedaan announcement dan advertisement dalam bahasa Inggris.
