Most Muslims go to the mosque every Idul Fitri morning for the Eid prayer, a shortened version of our 5 daily prayers. Like the millions of Muslims around the world, I stand tall next to my mom and sister as we start the prayer. By 10 A.M. I am out of the mosque and am at a breakfast. We really enjoy opor ayam.

Idul Fitri is not a celebration without my family. I always make sure to spend time with them on this special day. We generally have lunch at home during this holiday. Laughing, eating, and just enjoying each other’s company is the best way my family enjoys Idul Fitri. This is my eventful Idul Fitri, and I always look forward to it at the end of Ramadan.
