Kunci Jawaban Contoh Soal Present Perfect Continuous Tense Pilihan Ganda
- Kata keterangan (adverb) since + titik waktu mengharuskan kata kerja pada kalimat tersebut dalam present perfect. Aspeknya boleh simple maupun continuous. Pada pilihan yang ada hanya jawaban (e) yang memenuhi syarat karena kalimat itu menggunakan bentuk present perfect continuous.
e. have been living - For, since, dan all adalah keterangan waktu (adverb of time) yang merujuk present perfect continuous (has been + verb + ing). Jadi jawaban yang tepat adalah “All these years, Vita’s family has been living in proverty.” (Sepanjang tahun ini, keluarga Vita hidup dalam kekurangan)
b. has been living - For almost 30 minutes merupakan keterangan waktu untuk bentuk perfect tense atau perfect continuous tense. Kalimat pada soal ini menunjukkan bahwa pada saat berbicara, Tono dan Neni sedang berada di sini (here). Maka bentuk keterangan waktu 16 tenses yang tepat untuk melengkapinya adalah perfect continuous tense.
e. have been standing - Since last year merupakan adverb untuk perfect tense atau perfect continuous tense. Karena masih terjadi sampai sekarang yang ditunjukkan dari kata-kata ‘are closing down’, maka bentuk kata kerja yang tepat adalah present perfect continuous tense.
